Welcome to the library!
Situated in the heart of the school, the library is purpose built and offers a relaxing, yet fun environment for all students. We have approximately 4,500 books available to borrow. Delve into a world of vampires, solve crimes, leap into dystopian worlds or why not read a book from back to front from our Manga collection? And we aren’t all about fiction! We have a growing non-fiction collection too! Our football hero series is particularly popular, but maybe you’re more about forensics, comic book heroes, medicine, law or farting cows?! We’ve got something to inspire even the most reluctant readers!
Visit AccessIt, our digital library, where you can browse our physical shelves online, see our latest releases or current book themes as well as access almost 900 audio and e-books which you can then download and listen to through your iPad.
We are proud to host a number of clubs in the library, including LGBTQ+, B.O.A.S.T, Maths, EXTEND and Boardgame club – see our timetable in the library window, or pop in and speak to the librarian for more information. Students are more than welcome to come in to complete homework, revise in small groups or just pop in to get away from the general hubbub of school life and take a few minutes to chill out at break and lunchtime.
The library is open from 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
