Discover Languages Day

On Tuesday 16th January, 14 students attended the University of Portsmouth's 'Discover Languages Day' to work with their current students studying languages at degree level. 

The group of Year 10's used their French linguistic skills and took part in workshops in Interpreting, Subtitling and Translation, as well as a taster lesson in Mandarin.

The visit enabled our GSCE students to experience the benefits of studying a language at degree level and the different career opportunities available to them should they choose this pathway.
