Our new 'Farm to Fork' project is well underway!
Before lockdown, a dedicated group of students worked to plan the planting, clean and repair our polytunnel, as well as construct a potting bench, a new door, and a vertical planter.
Since lockdown, strictly following social distancing, Mr. Hooper has tended the vegetables.
We look forward to harvesting tomatoes, leeks, onions, runner beans, potatoes, and coriander. We’ve been careful to recycle materials where-ever possible, including egg boxes for seed trays, drinking bottles for slow drip-waterers delivering rain-water as much as possible, and pallet wood for the bench and the door.
