Students at Oasis Academy Sholing celebrate and are ready for their next steps after achieving some great GCSE results.
The wait for GCSE results is over as students across the country returned to school one final time to collect their grades; spirits are high for final year students at Oasis Academy Sholing as they look forward to taking their next steps today after securing some great results.
A number of students have achieved superb individual results. Jack Baldwin has secured 7 grade 9s and a grade 7. He will be going to Itchen College to study maths, physics and computer science with aspirations to be an astrophysicist or work in IT. Speaking of his results Jack said, “I’m so happy right now”.
Martin Brown, Principal at Oasis Academy Sholing, commented on students’ success saying; “This is such a special day for our community and our young adults who have worked so hard for these results, and we celebrate some outstanding individual achievements. We are thrilled for our students who have achieved so much through their dedication and determination.”
Oasis Academy Sholing remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering an environment where students can excel. We are passionate about giving our students the opportunities they need to make great progress and flourish,” the Principal added. “This year, more of our students than ever are leaving us with the qualifications they need to take the next step towards a fulfilling career.”
The success of the students is also a reflection of the Academy’s dedicated teaching staff. Today is an important testimony and a credit to our fantastic teachers, who are so committed to our students, enabling them to do their very best.
We look forward to continuing our mission of providing high-quality education and supporting students as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
